In 1970, the "Giessener Münzhandlung" was founded by Dieter Gorny in Giessen and since 1978 the company is located in the heart of Munich. By transferring parts of his business interests to Dr. Hans-Christoph von Mosch, the company subsequently changed its name to "Gorny & Mosch". For more than 30 years we have been assisting you with our well founded knowledge in coins and artefacts of the antiquity as well as coins and medals of medieval and modern times.

In autumn 2002 the company expanded. In addition to our office we offer Roman and Greek antiquities in a separate gallery.

We are located just a few minutes away from Karlsplatz/Stachus, Marienplatz and Odeonsplatz, and thus within easy reach by both U- and S-Bahn as well as by car with designated customer parking outside our main entrance.
